An Army recruitment rally will be held from October 1 to 6 at Seethakkathi Sethupathi stadium in Ramanathapuram. It would be conducted by the Army Recruiting Office, Tiruchi.
The recruitment would be for Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesman, and Soldier Clerk / Storekeeper Technical.
Candidates from Perambalur, Ariyalur, Tiruchi, Karur, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Pudukottai, Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, and Kanyakumari besides those from Karaikal can take part in the rally.
They should bring SSLC / HSC / Higher Education qualification certificates, transfer and conduct certificates in original besides two xerox copies duly attested.
Endorsement
They should also bring nativity and community certificates in English affixed with individual’s photograph duly attested by a tahsildhar with official seal and endorsed “This Certificate Issued for Enrolment Into Army”. Without this endorsement, candidates would not be entertained. Candidates are advised to reach the rally site by 5 a.m. daily. Medical exam of eligible candidates would be carried out at the rally site from October 3.
Candidates below 18 years of age will have to bring their parent’s consent certificate. Candidates with 10+2 vocational subject are not eligible for Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant, and Soldier Clerk / Storekeeper Technical categories, a press release from the Army Recruiting Office here said.
